Former Isle of Man gambling inspector Tommy Corlett joins SolutionsHub
Tommy Corlett, who worked with the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission for nine years, has joined SolutionsHub as Head of Regulatory Assurance Remediation.
SolutionsHub CEO Lee Hills, speaking on Corlett’s appointment, remarked that Corlett’s experience “is going to be incredibly useful” for the business’s clients. “He knows what regulators expect to see, how they test it, and what happens when the evidence does not stack up.”
For his part, Corlett commented that, “after nine years at the GSC, I am ready to use my experience in a different way and help businesses understand what regulators are actually looking for when they test something in practice”.
SolutionsHub stated that Corlett will be working with clients entering regulated markets and with online gambling businesses which are already managing ongoing compliance.
It said that, with his experience working with a regulator, “Corlett brings a practical view of where licensing applications and compliance plans can come under pressure,” and he will be able to use that experience in order to help operators address gaps ahead of regulatory scrutiny.
