The essential guide to SiGMA World 2026

SiGMA World, powered by REDCORE, returns to Rome from 02–05 November 2026, bringing four days of exhibitions, conferences, networking, business and entertainment to Fiera Roma. Following its Rome debut, the flagship summit returns with a significantly expanded footprint, bringing together gaming, frontier technology, financial markets and affiliate marketing in one of Europe’s largest exhibition venues.

More than 30,000 delegates are expected, alongside 1,200+ sponsors and exhibitors, 550 expert speakers, five conference stages, four industry awards, three startup pitch competitions and a packed programme of networking events, sporting activities and evening functions. The event will occupy around 100,000 square metres at Fiera Roma, giving delegates considerably more ground to cover and more opportunities to make the most of their time in the Italian capital.

If you are travelling to Rome for the first time, a little preparation will go a long way. From choosing where to stay and planning your journey to Fiera Roma, to building your SiGMA Match schedule and preparing your social presence before you arrive, this guide covers the essentials for making the most of SiGMA World 2026.

Mark the dates

The summit runs from Monday 02 November through Thursday 05 November, with the exhibition and conference programme spread across multiple halls and stages. The wider programme also includes evening receptions, awards, networking sessions, sporting activities, premium experiences and other events taking place around Rome.

Before travelling, save the official agenda and event guide to your phone. The programme is extensive and can change, so it is worth checking the live agenda each morning during the summit.

Four industries in one destination

One of the defining features of the 2026 edition is the convergence of four specialist communities under one roof.

SiGMA World connects the global gaming ecosystem, while AIBC brings together AI, blockchain, emerging technology and digital innovation. FX World focuses on financial markets and fintech, while AGS brings the affiliate marketing community together. Each retains its own specialist programme and exhibition environment, while the shared venue creates opportunities to move between sectors and discover connections outside your usual business network.

For delegates, this means the most valuable conversations may not necessarily happen within your own vertical. Gaming operators can meet technology providers, affiliates can discover new commercial partners, investors can encounter emerging businesses, while fintech and technology companies can explore opportunities across the wider gaming ecosystem.

With four communities converging in Rome, it is worth approaching the summit with an open agenda and allowing time to explore beyond your immediate priorities.

Know the venue

Fiera Roma is the home of SiGMA World 2026 and is one of Europe’s major exhibition centres. The venue features 10 modern, pillar-free pavilions covering approximately 150,000 square metres of indoor space and 40,000 square metres of outdoor space. Its conference centre includes 13 meeting rooms, while the wider complex can accommodate up to 60,000 participants and has extensive parking facilities.

For SiGMA World, the venue will be configured to accommodate an expanded exhibition floor, multiple conference stages, workshops, networking areas and additional experiences, including a padel court and a GoKart arena for the first SiGMA Grand Prix.

The scale of Fiera Roma means that comfortable footwear is strongly recommended. If you have a full schedule of meetings, panels, and exhibition appointments, allow more time than you would at a smaller conference venue to move between halls.

Getting to Fiera Roma

From Fiumicino Airport

Rome-Fiumicino Airport is the most convenient airport for Fiera Roma, with the venue located less than 5km away.

The simplest option is the FL1 regional train. The Fiera Roma station is directly connected to the airport and places you close to the exhibition centre. Fiera Roma itself recommends the FL1 connection, with the journey from Fiumicino Airport to Fiera Roma costing €8 according to the venue’s current travel information.

Taxis are another option, particularly if you are travelling with heavy luggage or arriving with colleagues. Fiera Roma estimates the journey from Fiumicino Airport to be around 10 minutes, although actual travel times can vary depending on traffic.

If you are travelling from the airport directly to the summit, check the latest SiGMA information before setting off, particularly if shuttle arrangements or dedicated event transport are announced closer to the event.

From central Rome

If you are staying in central Rome, the FL1 train is generally the most straightforward way to reach Fiera Roma.

The route connects the venue to major railway stations, including Roma Tiburtina, Roma Tuscolana, Roma Ostiense, and Roma Trastevere, before continuing towards Fiumicino Airport.

Travellers staying around Termini, the Colosseum, Trastevere, Prati, the Vatican or other central districts may need to combine the metro, bus or a short taxi journey with the FL1.

A useful approach is to enter Fiera Roma as your destination in Google Maps and allow it to identify the nearest FL1 connection.

By bus

Several public bus services connect the surrounding area with Fiera Roma. Current routes include ATAC lines 808, 089, 701 and 701L, alongside COTRAL connections.

The closest bus stop is Eiffel / Fiera di Roma, while COTRAL services stop at F11043, F11044 and 4596.

By taxi or ride-hailing service+

Taxi and ride-hailing services are useful when moving between the venue and evening events, particularly when several people are travelling together.

Commonly used apps in Rome include Uber, FREENOW, itTaxi and appTaxi. Always check the vehicle registration, car and driver details against the information shown in the app before getting in.

Rome traffic can be unpredictable, particularly around busy periods. If you have a dinner, awards ceremony or meeting with a fixed arrival time, build additional time to your journey rather than relying on the estimated journey duration.

By car

Drivers approaching Fiera Roma should use the Grande Raccordo Anulare, or GRA, and take Exit 30 towards Fiumicino before following signs for the venue.

Fiera Roma has more than 7,000 parking spaces, with additional parking capacity available within the surrounding district.

Plan your accommodation

The advantage of staying in central Rome is access to the city’s restaurants, landmarks, nightlife and evening networking opportunities. The trade-off is the daily journey to Fiera Roma.

Choosing a place near the venue reduces commuting time. This is especially true when you have either early starts or back-to-back meetings. If your top priority is business efficiency, consider how close your accommodation is to the FL1 route when making a decision, rather than focusing solely on the distance on a map.

The current SiGMA World travel page also features Corinthia Rome as an official hotel option. Located on Piazza del Parlamento in the historic centre, the property provides a central base for delegates who want to combine summit attendance with time in the city.

Whichever area you choose, book early. Rome is a major international destination, and November can be busy around large events.

Build your summit schedule

The scale of SiGMA World means that trying to attend everything is unlikely to be practical.

Start by identifying your non-negotiables. These might include keynote sessions, specific speakers, exhibitors, meetings, workshops, startup pitches or networking events. Then build the rest of your schedule around those priorities.

The conference programme spans five stages and includes dedicated tracks covering gaming, affiliate marketing, AI, blockchain, fintech, financial markets, regulation, emerging technologies and other specialist subjects.

Workshops provide another layer to the programme, with sessions covering areas such as cross-border gaming operations, North American regulation, digital finance, AI, blockchain, crypto, MiCA, the EU AI Act, Brazil, Asia, Africa and Mexico.

The key to success is ensuring there is sufficient time between meetings rather than occupying every available free moment. Having a half-hour interval can greatly affect whether you arrive at your next appointment stress-free or spend the rest of the meeting hurriedly trying to make up for lost time.

Make SiGMA Match work for you

SiGMA Match is the event’s free networking platform and should be one of the first tools you set up before arriving in Rome.

The platform allows delegates to discover exhibitors, speakers and fellow attendees, explore the interactive floor plan, arrange meetings and keep track of event information. You can also create a profile that highlights your products, services, and business objectives, helping other delegates understand what you are looking for before you meet.

Rather than waiting until you arrive, use the platform to identify the people you want to meet in advance.

Create a shortlist of priority contacts, send meeting requests and use the interactive floor plan to understand where your meetings will take place. If you have several meetings in different halls, group them geographically where possible.

You can also use your personal QR code to make it easier for new contacts to connect with you.

Make your participation visible

The SiGMA social asset generator allows registered participants to create personalised promotional assets announcing their involvement in the event. It is designed to give attendees, speakers, exhibitors and media partners an easy way to share their participation with their own professional and social audiences.

First, select the relevant SiGMA event. For Rome, choose SiGMA World 2026.

Next, select your role from four options: Attendee, Speaker, Exhibitor or Media Partner. The creative is then tailored around the role you have selected, helping you communicate exactly how you are involved in the event.

You can then choose from six available formats designed for different social media platforms and placements, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and more.

Once you have selected your preferred format, generate your personalised creative and share it directly across your chosen channels.

The value is more in announcing that you are travelling to Rome. Sharing your participation ahead of the summit gives your network a reason to start conversations before you arrive. It can help existing contacts know where to find you, encourage new connections to reach out and allow prospective partners to arrange a meeting while calendars are still being built.

Especially exhibitors and speakers will find it easy to extend their reach beyond the event venue. The same may apply to media partners who can showcase their coverage through the content they have received. At the same time, attendees will be able to use the event to gain professional visibility.

For best results, think of creative usage as part of the larger pre-event communication plan. As soon as your plans for the visit to Rome are confirmed, inform the audience and prepare a post about the companies or individuals you would like to meet there.

What to expect on the floor

The exhibition floor will bring together a broad cross-section of gaming, technology, affiliate, fintech and financial market businesses.

The current event profile includes more than 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors, making the exhibition floor a significant part of the overall experience.

Identify the companies you want to visit before the event, locate their stands using the floor plan and leave time for spontaneous conversations. Some of the most useful meetings may come from neighbouring sectors rather than the companies you originally intended to see.

The expanded footprint also means that it is worth familiarising yourself with the floor plan before arriving. The interactive map is available through SiGMA Match and the official event website.

Put the major events in your diary

02 November

The opening day sets the pace for the summit, with the exhibition, conference programme and workshops getting underway at Fiera Roma.

Pre-registration and the Welcome Reception are scheduled at Lanterna di Fuksas, allowing delegates to complete registration, collect their event materials and start networking before the main programme. The current agenda lists pre-registration and the Welcome Reception from 10:00 to 22:00, open to all ticket holders.

Premium and Platinum ticket holders can also access selected experiences, including The Rome Expedition, a guided team challenge through the historic centre. Other premium activities include a Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica tour. These activities have limited availability and may require advance registration.

The evening programme also includes the SiGMA World Awards at Corsia Sistina di Santo Spirito in Sassia. The invitation-only event features a welcome reception, awards ceremony, dinner and entertainment, with access reserved for eligible ticket holders, table sponsors and paid-seat guests.

03 November

Day two moves deeper into the conference and exhibition programme, with five stages covering specialist themes across the four communities.

The programme includes sessions focused on regulation, affiliate partnerships, market diversification, AI, finance, emerging technologies and the future of gaming. The AIBC programme also features the Robot Roast & AMA, while startup-focused sessions provide opportunities to discover companies and ideas emerging across the technology ecosystem.

The day also brings networking opportunities and the AIBC & FX Awards at Corsia Sistina, with the evening programme featuring a reception, seated dinner, entertainment, and a charitable activity.

04 November

The third exhibition day is an opportunity to turn conversations into concrete business discussions.

Use the morning to revisit high-priority companies, follow up on leads from the first two days and hold meetings that require more time. The programme also includes workshops on Brazil, Latin America, Israel, and other regulatory and commercial markets.

The AGS Awards will take place in the evening at Corsie Sistine, bringing the affiliate community together for networking, entertainment, dinner, and a charitable auction.

05 November

The final day provides one last opportunity to make meetings count before delegates begin departing Rome.

Use the final exhibition hours to confirm outstanding conversations, revisit priority stands, and close any meetings postponed earlier in the week.

The final conference and workshop programme continues across the venue, with sessions covering areas including Africa, financial innovation, emerging markets and regulatory cooperation.

The day concludes with the SiGMA Italia Awards at the Sistine Chapel. The ceremony focuses specifically on the Italian gaming market and combines industry recognition with networking and charitable activities.

What to pack

November in Rome is generally mild, but the weather can change quickly, and rain is possible.

Layers are your best option. Bring a light jacket or coat for travelling between venues, comfortable shoes for the Fiera Roma floor and something slightly smarter for evening dinners and awards.

Large exhibition centres can also feel cooler indoors, so having an additional layer available during conference sessions is worthwhile.

If you are attending the Vatican experience, remember that modest dress is required, with shoulders and knees covered.

Money and payments

Italy uses Euro. Cards are commonly used throughout Rome in hotels, restaurants, shops and transport services. However, it is advised to carry cash for small purchases, local markets and some street food vendors. Ever since the SiGMA travel guide recommended using safe ATMs, travellers have also been advised to inform their banks about their trip.

Stay connected

Free Wi-Fi is available to delegates and exhibitors at the summit. For mobile connectivity, international visitors may want to consider an eSIM before travelling. SiGMA’s travel information also highlights eSIM options for delegates.

Keep your phone charged throughout the day. Between SiGMA Match, digital tickets, meeting schedules, maps, messaging and social media, your smartphone will effectively become part of your event toolkit.

A portable power bank is therefore one of the more useful items you can bring.

Staying safe in Rome

Rome is widely recognised as a safe destination for international tourists; however, tourists should take care and stay alert in crowded areas. Tourists may experience pickpocketing in crowded places, so it is recommended that they keep all valuables out of sight, avoid leaving their cell phones or wallets in their pockets, and take extra precautions at crowded transport hubs.

When using taxis or ride-hailing services, choose reputable providers and verify vehicle and driver details before getting in.

For emergencies in Italy, call 112 for the general European emergency service. SiGMA’s current travel guidance also lists 113 for police, 118 for ambulance services and 115 for the fire brigade.

Visa and entry requirements

Travel requirements depend on your nationality and immigration status, so check the latest Italian and Schengen requirements before travelling.

Non-EU travellers who require a Schengen visa should allow sufficient time for the application process. SiGMA can provide an invitation letter for eligible visitors who need supporting documentation for their application.

The current SiGMA guidance advises travellers to check official government sources for the latest visa and entry requirements rather than relying solely on older event information, as requirements can change.

If you are travelling internationally, make sure your passport, visa documentation, travel insurance, accommodation details and return travel information are all in order before departure.

Registration and event support

Complete as much registration preparation as possible before arriving in Rome.

Keep your ticket confirmation and QR code readily accessible on your phone, and carry a valid form of identification. Pre-registration is designed to help delegates avoid unnecessary queues and get into the event more efficiently.

During the event, SiGMA provides live support through its event communication channels, including Telegram, WhatsApp and SiGMA Match. Current event guidance states that support will be available from 07:00 throughout the event dates.

Make Rome work for you

The most successful SiGMA World experience will not necessarily belong to the delegate with the fullest calendar.

It will belong to the delegate who knows what they want from the event, prepares before arriving and leaves enough room for the unexpected.

Utilise SiGMA Match to find the correct individuals for meetings. Use the venue plan to get around easily. Utilise the conference schedule to identify the sessions most relevant to your business. Use the social asset creator to inform people on social networks about your attendance.

With gaming, technology, finance, and affiliate marketing converging across the Fiera Roma footprint, Rome offers an unusually broad environment for making connections beyond your usual network. The right conversation could happen on a conference stage, at an exhibition stand, during a workshop, over coffee or at one of the many networking events surrounding the summit.
